Fashion + Fitness= Is there any better combination?!…well maybe peanut butter and chocolate but ANYWAYS:
Fitness and fashion have always been passions of mine and combining them just came naturally. I’m obsessed with pairing different types of apparel to create fashionable workout outfits. I often feel I dress more fashionable for the gym or a class than I do for work most days.
Staying in shape and eating a well balance diet is an everyday routine for me. I am consistently changing up my workout routines and trying new fitness classes. For me, rather than buying into “diet programs” or “supplements” I choose to spend my money on barre and yoga classes and workout apparel.
I’m a firm believer in that if you look good, you feel good, and you feel good, you do good. I workout because it makes me feel good and when I look good while workout it makes me push harder. My fashion obsession not only motivates me to work harder but it makes me excited about working out. Nothing feels better than walking into a barre class rocking a new tank or going to yoga sculpt in a new pair of leggings. I walk in, set up, and say to myself “I’m ready to crush this workout!” and maybe proceed to check myself out a couple times in the mirror (lol). For me, it’s an automatic mood booster.
The same effect happens when I get a new pair of running shoes. I get so excited that I have to take them out for a test run, IMMEDIETLY! My excitement allows for me to go the extra mile or five. I’ve always been told that running is 80% mental. On days when I feel that I look good I am able to run a little further or faster in comparison to days where I am in a funk and can only run a mile before I throw in the towel. Most things in life are mental and being motivated is a great way to set you up for success.
My favorite “go to” workout outfits:
My favorite accessories I never leave the house without before heading to a workout:

For me, my motivation for staying fit and healthy comes from mixing fashion and fitness. If fashion isn’t your forte, find something that motivates YOU to stay healthy and in-shape. You only live one life…. live it to the FULLEST!
